Wanting a perfect day-trip? Head to the New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins. This Colorado native brewery is located in the third best city on Forbes’ Top 20 Cities for Business and Careers. And this college town is in fact adorable and very eco-friendly (as is the brewery)! Even better than this fact is that they were #1 in 2012 on TripAdvisor’s Top 10 American Brewery Tours. Moral of these statistics – GO! I traveled to here from Denver, CO and had the perfect afternoon touring, tasting beer, and enjoying the friendly staff. When planning your trip, note that the brewery is not open on Sunday or Monday. As a final selling point, they mail vintage postcards for you to send to friends and family, letting them know about your visit. Too cute!
